Colombian singer and songwriter Carolina Giraldo Navarro, known professionally as Karol G, shared Tuesday the teaser and release date for her new single "Cairo".
It is set to be released on Sunday, November 13. The music video was filmed in the country's most famous areas, including the Pyramids of Giza.
"Cairo" marks the third collaboration between Karol G and director Pedro Artola. They previously worked together on "Provenza" and "Gatúbela".
Karol G, born on February 14, 1991, in Medellín, launched her singing career as a teenager, appearing on the Colombian spinoff of "The X Factor".
She moved to New York City in 2014 to learn more about the music industry.
The singer made her breakthrough after her 2017 collaboration “Ahora Me Llama,” with Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny.
