A24 released Tuesday the official trailer for Colin Farrell's sci-fi movie “After Yang”.
The movie is based on the short story “Saying Goodbye to Yang” by Alexander Weinstein. It is set in a world where robots are purchased as live-in babysitters for children.

The movie focuses on married couple Jake (Farrell) and Kyra (Jodie Turner-Smith) who purchase Yang (Justin H. Min) as a babysitter for their adopted daughter Mika (Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja).
As Yang begins to malfunction, Jake embarks on a journey to fix him and in the process discovers a gap between him and his family that he didn’t realize existed.
“After Yang” also stars Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, Haley Lu Richardson, Sarita Choudhury, and Clifton Collins Jr.
The movie had its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival last July, where it received highly positive reviews from critics.
“After Yang” is set to hit theaters and stream on Showtime on March 4.
