Pilot Mohamed Manar, Civil Aviation Minister, Dr. Khaled al-Anani, Tourism, and Antiquities Minister, as well as Major-General Amr Hanafi, Red Sea Governor made an inspection tour at Hurghada International Airport.
This came in light of the continuous coordination and cooperation and concerted efforts between the two ministries to revitalize the tourism movement.
During their tour, the two ministers inspected the departure and arrival halls, duty-free shops, the baggage belt area, the precautionary measures, as well as the entry and exit gates.
On his part, Aviation Minister praised the security measures applied at the airport as well as the full coordination between all the parties operating at the airport.
He also followed up the implementation of preventive measures at the airport, including thermal cameras to detect the passengers' temperature and social distancing posters to ensure the safety of passengers and workers.
In addition, al-Anani hailed the fruitful coordination and cooperation between both ministries, which reflected through the success of various marketing initiatives to encourage domestic tourism, stressing that Hurghada is one of the key tourist attractions preferred by tourists from all over the world.
