Cinderella, Swan Lake on Ice at Cairo Opera

Cairo Opera House will host eight shows for the world-famed Moscow on Ice troupe at the Grand Hall, Cairo Opera House between February 20 to 24.

The scheduled stage appearances will include Prokofiev's Cinderella and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake performances.

Organized under the auspices of the Minister of Culture Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, the forthcoming shows target presenting various trends of creative arts to the Egyptian audience.

Regarding the dates of the morning performances, they will be held at 11 am from February 21, Wednesday, to February 23. While, the night ones will take place between February 20 and 24 at 8 am.

Dr. Magdy Saber, the Director of Cairo Opera House, said that the members of the troupe are the finest ballet skaters and skilled technicians.

Saber pointed out that the shows will combine accuracy, attraction, and well-organized plots with the performance of the dances based on ballet and ice skating technique.
