Christina Ricci is set to star in and executive produce "The Astrology House," a drama based on Carinn Jade’s novel of the same name in development at Peacock.
"Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" co-creator Lindsay Calhoon Bring is writing the adaptation, which is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
"The Astrology House" was published in 2024 by Atria Books. The story follows the cosmically intertwined lives of Rini and Margot (Ricci). When Rini invites Margot and her family-and-friend group to vacation at her astrology retreat, long-held resentments, secrets and lies boil over, culminating in death.
Ricci and Michael Peters executive produce for Ricci’s Cat Full of Spiders; Calhoon Bring also executive produces. Jade is a consulting producer.
Ricci can be seen as Misty Quigley on Showtime’s popular drama "Yellowjackets," with the role earning her a second Emmy nomination in 2022. (She earned her first Emmy nomination in 2006 for guest starring on "Grey’s Anatomy").
In a nod to her Addams Family roots, Ricci had a key role in Season 1 of Netflix’s hit "Wednesday".
Other TV credits include Prime Video’s "Z: The Beginning of Everything" and the lead role in "The Lizzie Borden Chronicles," for which she earned a SAG Award nomination.
