EGOT winner singer/songwriter John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen welcomed their fourth baby.
Legend shared a photo with his four children shortly after Teigen, announced that they had secretly welcomed a baby boy.
The “All of Me” singer cradled his two babies — newborn son Wren, who was born via surrogate on June 19, and 5-month-old daughter Esti — in the Instagram post shared Wednesday.
The couple’s two older children — daughter Luna, 7, and son Miles, 5 — were seen smiling alongside their dad and younger siblings.
“Wren Alexander Stephens, our new love,” Legend, 44, captioned.
The EGOT winner also shared a photo of his wife holding little Wren, who was covered in a blanket, as he rested his chin on Teigen’s shoulder and smiled lovingly at his baby boy.
Another photo showed a close-up of Wren swaddling and taking a snooze.
Legend shared the adorable photo with his kids moments after the “Cravings” cookbook author introduced their son to the world.
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children,” Teigen, 37, shared in a lengthy Instagram post Wednesday, adding that she and Legend began looking into surrogacy in 2021.
“All our wishes and dreams aligned,” she continued, explaining how they met their surrogate Alexandra, who was a “perfect match” and inspired Wren’s middle name.
“I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives.”
Although the couple’s first embryo did not survive, they were overjoyed when Alexandra became pregnant during Teigen’s pregnancy with Esti.
Wren arrived “just minutes before midnight” on June 19 — five months after Esti’s birth.
“I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love,” Teigen wrote.
“Thank you for choosing me. For making this whole experience so wonderful. For loving me and my family whole heartedly. It was truly an honor bringing perfect Wren into the world with you right by my side,” Alexandra commented.
The couple welcomed their newborn son more than two years after the model and entrepreneur had to have a “life-saving abortion” with her son Jack due to a partial placenta abruption.
She mourned the pregnancy loss on Instagram in October 2020 by sharing emotional photos from the hospital.
In February 2022, Teigen revealed she was undergoing in vitro fertilization again. She announced in August that she was pregnant.
“1 billion shots later … we have another on the way,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves.”
“But so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
Teigen gave birth to Esti in January, with Legend sharing how “grateful” he was.
The pair tied the knot in September 2013, seven years after meeting on the set of his “Stereo” music video.
