On Wednesday, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Issa, and Hu Heping, Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism, participated in the opening session of the professional workshop organized by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion under the title "Egyptian-Chinese Tourism".
The workshop comes within a series of current efforts that will contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries in various fields, especially in the field of tourism, according to a statement.
The activities of the opening session of the workshop began with the presentation of a short film produced by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, marking the decoding of Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and the creation of Egyptology 200 years ago.
In his remarks, the Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism expressed his happiness after participating in the workshop's activities, extending his sincere thanks to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities for the good and warm reception.
The Chinese minister also noted that Egypt and China are among popular Tourist destinations that have a good reputation worldwide.
