Children's Storytelling Workshop at the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo

The Russian Cultural Center in Cairo will host a special storytelling workshop for children tomorrow, Tuesday, April 8, at 4:30 p.m. in the center's exhibition hall. The workshop will be led by Alexandrian novelist, writer, and visual artist Omaima Abdel Aziz.

This event is being held as part of Abdel Aziz’s ongoing art exhibition at the center, titled *"Fantasia."* The exhibition offers a panoramic view of her creative journey, showcasing her work across various fields including novels, short stories, prose, book cover designs, comics, and children's stories.

The Fantasia exhibition opened on in the presence of several notable figures from the Egyptian art and cultural scene.

Among the attendees were artist Hassan Wasfi, head of the Fine Artists Syndicate in Alexandria; Denis Brunikov, Deputy Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo, representing Arseny Matyushenko, Acting Director of Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt; Sherif Gad, Director of Cultural Activities at the Russian Center; and artist Mohamed Fouad, member of the Alexandria Fine Artists Syndicate Council.

Omaima Abdel Aziz presented 53 artworks in the exhibition, created using various mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, and ink. Her pieces reflect a delicate portrayal of inner dialogue and emotional expression.

The upcoming storytelling workshop promises to be an engaging experience for children, blending visual art with the power of narrative to inspire imagination and creativity.
