Chico to Collab with Hesham Maged in Play “Ala Wadaa Al Tayara”

Egyptian actors and comedians Chico and Hesham Maged are collaborating in the play “Ala Wadaa Al Tayara” (Airplane Mode).

The cast also includes Shimaa Seif, Mohamed Salam, Rahma Ahmed, and Mustafa Gharib.

“Ala Wadaa Al Tayara” will be hosted from May 25 to May 29 at the Mohammed Al-Ali Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia.

The play takes place on a plane heading from Cairo to Istanbul, boarding all kinds of people, each of whom travels for a reason.

However, things change when a hijacker seeks revenge on the passengers.

This is not the first collaboration between the duo.

During university, Chico created the Tamr Hendi production company with Maged and Ahmed Fahmy, which produced films that ridiculed famous Egyptian films.

They created the film “Men who do not know the Impossible”, a project that attracted the attention of Mohamed Hefzy, who at the time was trying his hand at production.

Hefzy produced their first TV series “Afeesh wa Tashbeeh” that cynically tackled Egyptian classics in each episode.

He also produced the trio's 2008 film "Waraqat Shifra" which was a big hit at the box office.

They also collaborated on the films "Hamlet Freezer" (2016), "El Harb El A'lameya El Talta" (2014), "Banat ElA'm" (2012), and "Samir, Shahir and Bahir" (2010).

In 2020, the duo also starred in the hit TV series "The Game", which renewed for three seasons.
