Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed in an interview that English actor Charlie Cox is set to reprise his role as Daredevil in the Marvel Cenamitc Universe (MCU).
In an interview with CinemaBlend, Feige disclosed: "If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”
Cox played the blind lawyer-turned-superhero, Matt Murdock, in 2015 hit Netflix series "Daredevil", which was canceled after a three-season run.
He quickly became a fan favorite and helped reawaken interest in the character.
The series also opened the door for several other MCU shows on Netflix, all of which came to an abrupt conclusion around the time that streaming service, Disney+, gained momentum.
The announcement comes on the heels of long-standing rumors about Cox’s return in the upcoming "Spider-Man: No Way Home".
