The Cairo Francophone Film Festival (CFFF) will conclude the activities of the second edition tonight at the Cairo Opera House.
The closing ceremony will see the announcement of prizes in the festival's different competitions including the newly established initiative for making an eco-friendly film.
30 films were screened during the festival, in addition, it celebrated the 100th anniversary of Boutros Boutros Ghali.
In addition, the famous actress Dorra was honored in the opening ceremony.
Dozens of cinema industry superstars contributed at the festival as jury members such as Khaled El Sawy, Mourad Makram, Fatma Nasir, and Injy Abo Zeid.
The President of the festival Yasser Moheb said that this edition targeted to increase the audience of Francophonic cinema, in addition, it will shed light on the role of Egypt in the Organization Internationale de la Francophonie.
Moreover, the event will make communication between the audience and the various visions and experiences of these countries and cultures.
