Celebrities Race to Help Poor Families due to Coronavirus

Egyptian Celebrities in the form of Athletes and Actors started a challenge called " Tahdy El Khair" to help poor families affected by the Coronavirus, as well as torrents that Egypt has witnessed during the past days.

Lots of well known iconic figures including actors Ahmed El-Sakka and Mohamed Ramadan, in addition to prominent Footballers like Shikabala and Mahmoud Kahraba took part in the challenge, whether in the form of financing less fortunate families or offering huge sums of money.

Celebrities Race to Help Poor Families due to Coronavirus

The new Coronavirus has caused an in-house emergency, in parallel with the state slogan, "Stay at home", to combat the deadly virus. This has led to many families staying inside the house to preserve their lives, but the heads of these families work on a daily, rather than monthly, or regular basis, which necessitated the Egyptian people joining together to get out of this global crisis.

Also, the torrents caused serious damage to many Egyptian houses, destroyed many of the roofs of simple houses and drowned many houses and furniture due to water entering.

The most prominent of these stars are:

El-Ostora Star Mohamed Ramadan

El-Ostora Star Mohamed Ramadan donated a sum of 2 million pounds in order to aid less fortunate families who fell victims to the ravaging disease. Ramadan wished all patients well in their fight against the virus while challenging prominent businessman Naguib Sawiris and Ahly Player Ramadan Sobhy to join in the cause.

Legendary action star Ahmed El-Sakka

 

Legendary action star Ahmed El-Sakka posted a video on YouTube, declaring that he will aid 75 families while challenging Mohamed Mounir to do the same.

Actor Ahmed Fahmy

Comedy Actor Ahmed Fahmy also accepted the challenge, promising to aid 50 stricken families and challenged Ahmed Ezz, Akram Hosny and Aly Rabie to do the same.

Singer and Actor Tamer Hosny

Singer and Actor Tamer Hosny accepted the challenge, saying: "There are people who can stay at home, and others cannot, so I will take care of 400 families." He added: "Any new ideas that will bring us together, I will be in them".

Actress Mona Zaki

While Actress Mona Zaki promised to aid 80 families.

Actress Hana El-Zahed

Rising Actress Hana El-Zahed also promised to aid 80 families within the upcoming month.

El Ahly Player Mahmoud Kahraba

El Ahly Player Mahmoud Kahraba posted on his Twitter account that he and his father will also enter the challenge promising to aid 50 families while challenging several players to do the same.

Zamalek Legend Shikabala

Zamalek Legend Shikabala accepted the challenge, revealing that he will aid 30 families within this month, also.

Actor Chico

Actor Chico said: “I have accepted the challenge, and I will take care of 50 families this month.” He added: “I challenge Hana Al Zahid, Ahmed Al Saadani, Amr Youssef and Rania Youssef.”

Artist Amr Youssef

Artist Amr Youssef indicated his acceptance of the challenge, taking care of 100 families next month.

He said: "I challenge Ahmed Abu Hashima, Amr Adib, Mohamed Salah and Ahmed El-Sakka".
