Cardi B, Offset Share First Photos of Their Baby Boy

On Thursday, Cardi B and her husband Offset announced the name of their 7-month-old son, whom they welcomed on September 4.

The rapper shared photos of the infant for the first time and announced his moniker with emojis.

"🦕🌊🧸," she wrote alongside snaps of Wave rocking a blue fur coat and massive diamond chain.

Offset also introduced the infant to the world with an adorable photo of him cutely beaming at someone off-camera, wearing a handful of blinged-out necklaces.

" Wave Set Cephus," Offset captioned the photo.

Cardi also tweeted that Offset was the one who came up with the baby's moniker. "When Set suggested Wave, I was sold! THAT HAD TO BE HIS NAME !" she wrote on Twitter alongside a video of a piece of jewelry that spelled out his name.

The couple finally shared details about their 7-month-old baby in time with the entire family gracing the cover of ESSENCE's 52nd-anniversary issue.

The issue will highlight the profound endurance of love and will also feature family portraits with Cardi B and Offset's youngest child.

In September, the couple confirmed they had welcomed a baby boy, making Kulture Kiari Cephus, 3, a big sister. Offset is also a father to Jordan Cephus, 12, Kalea Marie Cephus, 7, and Kody Cephus, 7, from previous relationships.
