Cardi B dropped her highly anticipated sophomore album, "Am I the Drama?" on Friday.
The Bronx native's project arrives after more than seven years since releasing her solo album "Invasion of Privacy".
It boasts 23 tracks in total, including previously released singles like “WAP, “Up,” “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz.”
The Grammy-winning rapper and artist brought a star-studded cast of collaborators along for the ride, as the project features Summer Walker (“Dead,” “Shower Tears”), Selena Gomez (“Pick It Up”), Kehlani (“Safe”), Lizzo (“What’s Goin On”), Cash Cobain (“Better Than You”), Lourdiz (“On My Back”), Janet Jackson (“Principal”), Tyla (“Nice Guy”), and Megan Thee Stallion (“WAP”).
Cardi B's rollout has involved a bit of everything, including turning photos from her courthouse trips and civil lawsuit victory into alternate album covers and staying true to her NYC roots with subway skits promoting the album.
It has been an enduring journey for the rapper in the seven years between the albums, but she’s proud of the growth she’s seen from herself during that time period.
“Since then, I’ve experienced a lot. The good and bad of fame, the hate, jealousy, drama, balancing my career with my personal life and growing up and maturing,” Cardi told Billboard. “I’ve learned to control my emotions and understand how life works and how to play chess better.”
She is also pregnant with her fourth baby and her first from her partner and NFL star Stefon Diggs.
After giving birth, she’ll be hitting the road in 2026 for the Little Miss Drama Tour, Cardi’s first solo headlining arena trek.
