Cardi B, the leading nominee for the 2026 BET Awards, with six nods, is set to perform on the show, airing live Sunday, June 28 at 8 PM ET/PT on BET from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Other current nominees set to perform on the show, which is living up to its billing as Culture’s Biggest Night, include Doechii, Don Toliver, French Montana & Max B, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Tems, T.I., and Kwn.

Druski is set to host the show. Queen Latifah, who hosted in 2010, is among the performers. Hip-hop pioneer MC Lyte will return as an announcer.

The War and Treaty, who has received three nominations for vocal duo of the year at both the Country Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards, is set to perform, as are rapper Rick Ross and actor-rapper Common, who won an Oscar for best original song for cowriting “Glory” from Selma.

Three women will receive special awards. Ms. Lauryn Hill will be the inaugural recipient of the Living Legend Icon Award.

Singer, songwriter and actress Teyana Taylor — a 2026 Grammy and Oscar nominee — will be the inaugural recipient of the Icon of the Year Award. Legendary music executive Sylvia Rhone will receive the Ultimate Icon Award.

“BET Awards has always been a celebration of the artists, visionaries and cultural moments that shape our community and move culture forward,” Connie Orlando, EVP, specials, music programming & music strategy, BET, said in a statement. “This year’s show brings together an extraordinary mix of legends, superstars, and emerging talent whose influence continues to resonate across generations. From powerful performances to historic tributes, we’re creating the kind of unforgettable moments that define the BET Awards. And we’re only getting started.”

Additional presenters for the show will be announced in the coming weeks.
