An Arabic calligraphy exhibition headlined the opening of two new art shows on Saturday evening at Dai Gallery in Giza, bringing together the works of renowned calligraphic artist Fikry Suleiman and visual artist Atef Talaba.
Suleiman’s exhibition, “Calligraphy and the Qur’an: An Epic of Creative Harmony,” features a collection of contemporary Arabic calligraphy works that emphasize the balance between letterform, composition and color, presenting the Arabic letter as a powerful visual and spiritual element rooted in classical tradition.
Running concurrently, Talaba’s exhibition, “Between Reality and Imagination,” showcases paintings that merge realistic elements with imaginative and symbolic scenes, encouraging open-ended visual interpretation.
Both exhibitions will continue for two weeks, reflecting Di Gallery’s commitment to supporting diverse artistic expressions and contributing to Egypt’s contemporary visual arts movement.
