As part of the ongoing Grand Symphony Series, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is set to deliver a captivating performance under the baton of Italian maestro Giovanni Pompeo.
Joining the orchestra are pianist Naghamiya Safwat and vocalists Dalia Farouk, Amr Medhat, and bass singer Reda El-Wakil, along with the Acapella Choir, led by conductor Maya Chehineya.
The performance is scheduled for 8:30 PM on Saturday, October 14th, at the Grand Theater.
The program for the evening will feature a selection of renowned classical compositions, including Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2, Rachmaninoff's "The Bells," and the overture "Isis" by Abu Bakr Khairat.
It's worth noting that the Cairo Symphony Orchestra has introduced a series of diverse concerts that shine a spotlight on a collection of the world's most celebrated compositions, alongside Egyptian classics, all within the classical music framework.
