Cairo Opera Orchestra Animates Concert In Paris As Part of Egypt – France Year Activities

CAIRO, Feb. 24 (SEE)- Cairo Opera Ensemble returned home after giving a concert on Oratoar de Louvre in Paris theater within the activities of Egypt – France year. The activities are held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and will continue throughout 2019. It include creative activities of culture and the arts.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ihab Badawi Egypt's ambassador in France, The Mayor of Paris, Dr. Nevin Khaled , The Cultural Counselor of the Egyptian Embassy in Paris and a number of French public figures and Arab communities.

The concert was animated by presenting a selection of songs by the soloists :- soprano Iman Mustafa, Almitzussouprano Jolie Vizy, tenor Amr Medhat, baritone Mustafa Mohamed accompanied pianist Greg Martin.

They presented a number of songs Nabolitanah and a selection of international classics including operas of :- Carmen, Tosca, Don Carlo, Samson and Delilah, the Arabic melody " Ainak loloatan" by the musician Hisham Khalaf. They also presented the famous song " I am Egyptian" by Sayed Darwish, which animated the concert program and won the admiration of the audience; it also expressed the pride of the Egyptians of their civilization.
