In the presence of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Nevine Al-Kilani, Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Khaled Dagher, continues its celebrations of the anniversary of the June 30 revolution.
The Opera concludes its artistic season 2022-2023, with an artistic celebration that includes a selection of famous national and romantic musical compositions presented by Arab music stars led by Maestro Dr. Mostafa Helmy.
The celebration will feature the participation of students of choir and ballet classes from the Talents Development Centre at Cairo's Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Saber and directed by Mahdi El-Sayyed, and accompanied by kinetic tableaus designed by Sally Ahmed, at 8:30 pm on Monday, July 3, at the Grand Hall.
"Al-Hayat" TV channel will broadcast the celebration live on television to enhance and support the patriotic enthusiasm among the masses of the Egyptian people and allow them to witness the colors of serious opera art.
The program will also include a group of the most important and famous compositions of romantic and patriotic Arabic music.
Those compositions include the music of the stray light TV series, "Tair Bina Ya Qalbi," "Lola Almalam," "My Lovers of Egypt," " Drink from the Nile," "My Country," "Lay Brick upon Brick," "Thank You," "O Egypt, Mother of Nations," "Al Addawwar," "Bahia," "Al-Hudud" operetta, "If We Love Her," "With Hugs," and others.
The songs are performed by Amira Ahmed, Mohamed Hassan, Hanan Essam, Yasser Suleiman, Aya Abdullah, Ashraf Walid, Omnia Bakr, Kenzi, Farah Al-Mogy, Moamen Khalil, Ahmed Saeed, Ahmed Effat, and Eman Abdel-Ghany.
Dagher pointed out that the Cairo Opera House presented in its season 2022-2023, various artistic and cultural events, numbering 940, attended by more than a million spectators.
