Cairo Governorate Officials Drain Water on Streets

Major-General Khaled Abd alal the Cairo Governor, confirmed that all heads of neighborhoods and water sanitation companies, as well as the officials are still in the street to raise the accumulations of water resulting from bad weather.

He noted that the spread of hoods in all districts of the capital, especially, at homes, bridges and major areas. Abd alal said that the state of preparedness to face the rainfall has been raised during the next three days according to the forecasts of the Meteorological Authority.

He stressed that all executives are constantly present in the streets to deal immediately with complaints received and take all measures which will preserve the citizens safety.

He stressed the necessity of the rapid deployment of equipment and emergency teams as well as the presence on the streets of the capital to face any emergency through coordination between neighborhoods, the sewage company, hygiene, civil protection authority and the general administration of Cairo traffic and the implementation of the governorate plan.

On other hand, he added that the central operations room has been linked to the governorate and the operating rooms of the various authorities to ensure rapid response to any reports or complaints in the water gathering places and centering that are received at numbers 23907147 - 23912136 , hot number 114 for the operations room in the governorate.
