BTS member of RM has revealed the tracklist for his second solo album, "Right Place, Wrong Person".
The LP is set to arrive on May 24 and will feature 11 tracks “infused with alternative music and rich sounds,” according to the press release.
The K-pop superstar also helped write the “frank, honest lyrics” for each song.
According to the announcement on Weverse, "Right Place, Wrong Person" captures feelings that most people are familiar with, including “the feeling of being an outsider who doesn’t fit in.”
“'Right Place, Wrong Person' embodies facets of RM as a solo artist, distinct from albums released under BTS,” label Big Hit said in a statement, noting that the LP “delves into RM’s authentic essence.”
It will feature collaborations with British rapper/singer Little Simz on “Domodachi,” and singer/guitarist Moses Sumney on “Around the world in a day.” In addition to the dreamy first single “Come Back to Me,” the album contains the title track as well as “Nuts,” “Groin,” “Heaven” and “LOST!”.
“Come Back to Me” features lyrics by RM as well as guest musicians OHHYUK from South Korean band HYUKOH — who composed and arranged the song — and guitar and bass from Kuo of Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster and contributions from singer/songwriter JNKYRD and San yawn of Balming Tiger.
Other contributions come from Kim Hanjoo of South Korean band Silica Gel, who produced “LOST!,” and alt jazz duo DOMi & JD Beck, who helped with the production of “? (Interlude).”
RM recently released the trippy, seven-minute-long video for “Come Back to Me,” written and produced by Beef creator Lee Sung Jin.
The K-pop idol’s first solo album, "Indigo", arrived in December 2022 and featured multiple artists, including youjeen, Anderson .Paak, Erykah Badu and others.
