Let's get the show on the road, because BTS is back!
On Tuesday, the K-pop powerhouse mapped out a global world tour spanning 2026 and 2027.
The trek will see the septet – comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – embarking on a journey encompassing 79 performances across 34 markets.
They will launch the tour with three hometown concerts in Goyang, South Korea on April 9 and April 11-12, followed by dates in Tokyo, Japan, before embarking on an extensive North American run.
The stateside leg comprises 28 shows across 12 cities, including stops in Tampa, Fla.; El Paso, Texas; Mexico City; Stanford, Calif.; Las Vegas; East Rutherford, N.J.; Foxborough, Mass.; Baltimore; Arlington, Texas; Toronto; and Chicago.
The seven-member group will cap the North American portion with four performances in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium on September 1-2 and 5-6.
The presale dates for all the North American shows are on January 22 — except for the third and fourth L.A. shows, which have their presale on January 23. (Presale information can be found here.) The general on-sale is January 24.
A June return to Busan, South Korea is also scheduled mid-tour.
European dates will unfold across June and July, hitting Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.
The tour then pivots to Latin America with performances in Bogotá, Colombia; Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and São Paulo, Brazil throughout October.
The trek continues through Asia-Pacific territories in late 2026 and early 2027, with scheduled appearances in Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Bangkok; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Singapore; Jakarta, Indonesia; Melbourne and Sydney, Australia; Hong Kong; and Manila, Philippines.
Additional Japanese cities and Middle Eastern markets are slated to be added to the itinerary.
The shows will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage configuration designed to create an immersive experience while maximizing venue capacity.
Presale tickets for BTS Army fan club members go on sale January 22-23, with general public sales launching January 24 across all markets.
The massively popular K-pop act has been on hiatus for two years due to solo ventures and military service obligations.
According to Billboard, the band and their record label BigHit / Hybe stand to make more than $1bn (£740m) from their reunion - derived from concerts, merchandise, licensing, album sales, and streaming revenue.
The trek will be the band’s first large-scale tour in nearly four years, following "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage," which concluded in April 2022 and grossed $75.4 million from 11 shows.
The tour announcement comes as BTS prepares to release a fifth full-length album on March 20, which will be their first in nearly four years. The title of the project has not yet been revealed.
The 14-track album is “driven by each member’s honest introspection as they collectively shaped its direction by weaving their individual perspectives into the music,” according to a press release.
