Trafalgar Releasing has partnered with HYBE and BigHit Music to bring the BTS World Tour “Arirang” to cinemas worldwide, with two live concert broadcasts scheduled for April.
The seven-member K-pop group will perform full-length shows streaming live from Goyang, South Korea, on April 11 and Tokyo on April 18.
The screening marks the opening dates of the group’s first tour since 2021-2022’s “Permission to Dance on Stage.” Each territory will screen both concerts twice to accommodate varying time zones.
The tour encompasses 34 cities and 82 shows, establishing a new benchmark for tour dates by a K-pop artist.
The concerts feature a 360-degree in-the-round stage design intended to create an immersive experience with audiences positioned at the center of the performance.
The tour comes in support of BTS’ fifth studio album “Arirang,” slated for release on March 20.
The group consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. Since debuting in June 2013, they have earned five Grammy nominations from the 63rd to 65th ceremonies.
Additional accolades include Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards.
Additional live viewing dates for later in the year are planned, with details to be announced.
