A new trailer for BTS members Jungkook and Jimin's upcoming travel reality series "Are You Sure?!" has been released.
The eight-part show, filmed in 2023 before the K-pop idols enlisted in the South Korean military, follows Jimin and Jungkook as they travel to three iconic global destinations: New York state, USA; Jeju Island, South Korea; and Sapporo, Japan.
The new clip features snippets of the duo’s vacation in the summer across the US, the autumn in South Korea’s Jeju Island, and winter in the Japanese city of Sapporo.
It also provides the first glimpses of the show’s format and the activities viewers will watch them experience.
"Are You Sure?! “will take viewers on a fun-filled journey with Jimin and Jungkook as they eat, shop, cook, camp, canoe, swim and road trip together,” according to a press release, and will “give a deeper look into Jimin and Jungkook’s undeniable chemistry and endearing friendship as they bond over a variety of unforgettable moments throughout the trip immersing in different cultures, exploring various action-packed activities, and trying out local cuisines.”
In a November episode of Suchwita, the YouTube talk show hosted by BTS’ Suga, Jungkook appeared as a guest and revealed that he and Jimin had once discussed filming their joint adventures across the globe.
“On a shoot with Jimin ages ago, he said it might be fun to do a travel variety show with me, and I agreed,” Jungkook told Suga in the video, according to YouTube’s English translation. “But it didn’t end up going anywhere after that. Then suddenly, they set up a shoot.”
"Are You Sure?!" will be available to stream on Disney+ starting on August 8, with new episodes released every Thursday through September 19.
