Jin, a member of K-pop sensation BTS, has recently joined the cast of the upcoming reality show "Kian's Bizarre B&B," at Netflix.
The giant streamer shared the news through its X (formerly known as Twitter) account, also revealing that actress Ji Ye-eun will be part of the cast.
The show follows guests participating in a homestay at a guest house on Ulleungdo Island conceptualized and operated by Kian84, the webtoon artist-turned-TV personality, with Jin and Ji acting as employees of the establishment.
"When Jin and Ji Ye-eun are the ones serving you, it truly is a bizarre B&B," Netflix said in its post.
The show is slated for release in 2025, though Netflix has yet to give an exact premiere date.
The K-pop idol recently premiered his online variety show "Run Jin," which can be viewed on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel. That show is a spin-off of BTS’ Run BTS! variety show, which saw the boyband challenging different activities and missions.
Jin, the first BTS member to complete his mandatory military service, is also set to release a solo album later this year.
Last month, Jin shared in an interview with Weverse magazine that he is working on his debut album.
“[The BTS members] all finished making their own albums before enlisting, and now Jimin’s is coming out. That made me think I better not wait too long to release mine after his is out, so I’m working to get it done fast,” he said.
