BTS member J-Hope unveiled Tuesday the details of a new mini-album, "Hope on the Street Vol. 1", which will debut on streaming services worldwide on March 29 at midnight ET.

The six-track EP is described as “a special album” consisting of six tracks.

The album is set to arrive alongside a six-part docuseries, "Hope on the Street", that will depict the rapper’s dance journey as he explores and meets street dancers throughout the cities of Osaka, Paris, New York, Seoul, and Gwangju.

"Both will dive into the theme of dance, the core of J-Hope’s artistic roots and identity, ” it said.

It also features collaborations with bandmate Jungkook on “I Wonder”, Benny Blanco and Chic’s Nile Rodgers on “Lock/Unlock,” a dance mix of “What If” with Jinbo the SuperFreakm and “NEURON” featuring South Korean hip-hop vet Gaeko of Dynamic Duo and yoonmirae.

The project is a follow-up to J-Hope’s 2022 solo album, "Jack in the Box". A newly expanded HOPE Edition of the album was released in August 2023, featuring the original album tracks and three live recordings from J-Hope’s history-making performance at Lollapalooza in 2022 in Chicago, plus two instrumental tracks.

J-Hope is currently serving his mandatory 18-month military service, which began in April 2023.
