J-Hope released his new single “on the street” featuring J. Cole, his longtime inspiration, which left fans with excitement before the BTS member gets on his path to mandatory military service.
BigHit Music previously shared on Weverse that the hip-hop track’s title is a reference to J-Hope’s artistic roots in street dance.
The lo-fi track also serves as a reassuring message to fans who have been by his side. Over the sound of his own easygoing whistling, J-Hope sings, “Every time I walk / Every time I run / Every time I move / As always, for us.”
Later, he raps that “even my walk was made of your love and your faith.”
Meanwhile, J-hope and Jimin paid a visit to fellow member Jin at the military base in South Korea on Saturday morning.
Jin, who is now promoted to being Private First Class position within the military, shared the picture on Instagram with a caption that read, “welcome”.
In the photo, Jin is seen in his military uniform and buzz-cut hair with J-hope and Jimin on each side. The picture has naturally left fans emotional.
