Nominations for the 42nd edition of BRIT Awards, Britain's annual pop music awards show that honors dispensing musicians, has been unveiled on Saturday.
Adele, Ed Sheeran, Dave, and Little Simz were announced as two of the top nominees for the awards, with four nominations each.
Adele's four nods include nominations for best album, the best artist, and best song for "Easy On Me". She faces competition in the best album and artist categories from singer-songwriter Sam Fender.
In the international artist category, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Lil Nas X are each nominated for two awards and all are up against Taylor Swift.
Last month, organizers revealed that the ceremony will introduce gender-neutral awards for local and international artists, with performers now in the running for artist of the year or international artist of the year.
There will be a total of 13 awards given out in the show, including four new genre awards: alternative/rock act, hip-hop/grime/rap act, dance act, and pop/R'n'B act.
Organizers have already announced Holly Humberstone as the winner of the Rising Star award.

The BRITs will take place on February 8, 2022, live from The O2 Arena and broadcast on ITV and ITV Hub, and hosted by Mo Gilligan.
