Netflix revealed Saturday the premiere date for the second season of its smash-hit romance TV series “Bridgerton”.
"Bridgerton" Season 2 arrives from Shondaland and Creator Chris Van Dusen. It is set to debut on the giant streamer on March 25, 2022.
Season 2 will follow the pursuit of Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey)'s quest for a suitable marriage as chronicled in Julia Quinn’s second book, “The Viscount Who Loved Me“.
The lord’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India.
As Anthony begins to court Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions—a true love match is not high on his priority list — and decides to do everything in her power to stop the union, however, this only brings them closer together and complicates matters on both sides.
Meanwhile, the Featheringtons must welcome the newest heir to their estate, located on prestigious Grosvenor Square, while Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) continues to navigate the ton whilst attempting to hide her deepest secret from those closest to her.

The steamy historical romance has been a worldwide hit since its premiere in 2020.
Set in 1800s London, season 1 followed the journey to a happily-ever-after between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and the rakish Duke Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page).

It was quickly renewed for a third and fourth season just after announcing its second season.
"Bridgerton" season 3 and 4 will follow the next two titles in Quinn’s novels “An Offer from a Gentleman” and “Romancing Mister Bridgerton”.
