On Saturday, the Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported two more coronavirus-diagnosed patients, one of whom is from Misarte, while the other is from Tripoli.
It added that the total cases infected with coronavirus became three in Libya.
Libya confirmed its first case of the new coronavirus last week, with years of violence leaving its healthcare system highly vulnerable.
It is noteworthy that Mahmoud Jibril, the head of the Libyan National Forces Alliance, was tested positive for the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19 on Thursday.
Jibril has been taken to al-Ganzori hospital, eastern Cairo, according to well-informed Libyan sources to Sada al-Balad English Website (SEENews).
The sources stressed that the Egyptian Health Ministry had sent a letter to the hospital, urging it to take more care of Mr. Jibril.
