Bradley Cooper is in talks to star opposite Margot Robbie in the “Ocean’s Eleven” prequel at Warner Bros.

The film was initially set to reunite Robbie with Ryan Gosling, who starred with Robbie in the studio’s megahit "Barbie" and was in talks to star.

“Twisters” and "Minari" filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung is directing the prequel that is being produced by Robbie’s LuckyChap, taking over duties from Jay Roach, who was originally on board to helm the prequel.

Carrie Solomon is working on the screenplay, which — based on earlier reports — is expected to take place in 1960s Europe.

The Ocean’s franchise is one of the studio’s biggest film series, having earned over $1.4 billion at the box office. "Ocean’s 13," the most recent to star Brad Pitt and George Clooney, came out in 2007.

The three films in the franchise grossed over $420 million at the domestic box office. The female-fronted Ocean’s 8 bowed in 2018 and grossed nearly $300 million globally.

Elsewhere in the Ocean’s universe, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts will return for "Ocean’s 14," which will be directed by Fall Guy helmer David Leitch.

Cooper’s next theatrical effort is the dramatic comedy “Is This Thing On?,” which will host its world premiere on Friday at the New York Film Festival.

The movie, inspired by the life of British comedian John Bishop and starring Will Arnett and Laura Dern, marks Cooper’s third directorial effort following “A Star Is Born” and “Maestro.”

In front of the camera, he’s best known for “The Hangover,” “Silver Linings Playbook,” “American Hustle” and “American Sniper.”
