Botswana's national football team returned home about 6 hours before facing our national team, Egypt, in the second round of the group stage of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Botswana's national team faced a major crisis after its match with Mauritania, which it lost 1-0, last Saturday, as the team's mission members remained in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott.
Botswana's plane landed at Philip Matante International Airport in Francistown, which will host the Egypt match, 6 hours before the match.
Yesterday, CAF decided to postpone the Egypt and Botswana match by 3 hours to be held at 7 pm instead of 4 pm.
