The Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates's Affairs announced on Saturday that the bodies of the four Egyptian victims that lost their lives in Cyprus wildfire are set to arrive today.
Moreover, Emigration Minister Nabila Makram thanked the Ministry of the Civil Aviation and the Egyptian Embassy in Cyprus for their cooperation and coordination for facilitating the arrival of the victims' bodies.
The victims were found dead nearby Odou, and they were identified as Morzok Shady Morzok, 35, Hisa Melad Farouk,29, Ezat Salama Josef,28, and Maged Nabil Yonan, 24.
Last week, the Cypriot cabinet approved financial compensations packages to the four victims’ families. Each family will receive €95,000, in addition to €35,000 for each of the victims’ children. Also, the children will be given scholarships to study in Cyprus universities.
