Egypt and Turkey have seen an increase in tourist demand from the United Kingdom due to the free exchange rate of the Egyptian pound and Turkish lira, according to Bloomberg.
Egypt experienced an extraordinary influx of tourists, said Bloomberg, adding that there was an increase in demand in the Egyptian airports has been registered in the first quarter of this year, especially for tourist flights.
Bloomberg also noted that Hurghada has been one of the top favorite destinations for international tourists after the Canary Islands and Spain.
It's worth mentioning that the Egyptian government has taken various steps, such as simplifying the tourist visa process.
