BLACKPINK member Lisa's visual for her viral song "Money" has continued breaking records by surpassing 1 billion views on YouTube.
The visual, first released in 2021, crossed Monday the mark on YouTube. The Thai singer previously achieved this feat with the group, whose music videos for songs such as "Ddu-du Ddu-du", "Boombayah", and more have also crossed the mark.
With this achievement, Lisa has become the second member of the band to reach the milestone of reaching the mark with a single music video, and the third solo K-pop artist to do so overall.
She follows in the footsteps of Psy’s viral 2012 hit "Gangnam Style" and bandmate Jennie’s 2018 solo debut single "Solo".
The milestone also comes shortly after Lisa and her company LLOUD announced a new partnership with RCA Records for her future solo songs. Under the deal, the K-pop idol will also retain full ownership of all her recordings.
