South Korean female group Blackpink is set to headline the 2023 Coachella festival, along with Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean, making history as the first K-pop act to close out the festival's main stage.

The girl band will be on stage on the first and second Saturdays of the festival.

Bunny shares the same prestige as the first Latin artist to lead the festival’s list. Other top-billed artists include Icelandic legend Bjork, Spain’s Rosalia, Nigeria’s Burna Boy, and British-Indian singer Jai Paul.

The 22nd instalment of the festival takes place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Calif., on the weekends of 14-16 April and 21-23 April.

As per the announcement, “very limited Weekend 1 passes remain; for your best chance at passes, look to Weekend 2.”

Presale begins Friday, 13 January at 11 am PT and does not guarantee pass type, packages, or camping.

Coachella is North America’s largest music festival and has already sold all of its 125,000 tickets per day.

Last August, Blackpink announced that they will be bringing their Born Pink world tour to Abu Dhabi on 28 January this year.
