American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has finally dropped her third full-length album, "Hit Me Hard & Soft".
The LP consists of 10 tracks featuring tracks like “Chihiro”, “Skinny,” “Lunch,” “L’Amour De Ma Vie,” “Blue,” “Wildflower,” and more.
As usual, the album was written by Eilish and her brother and musical collaborator Finneas, who also produced the album.
No singles preceded the project, with the 22-year-old singer telling fans from the moment she announced it, “I wanna give it to you all at once.”
In April, Eilish told Rolling Stone that she sees it as a return to the enigmatic, blue-haired teenager she used to be.
“This whole process has felt like I’m coming back to the girl that I was,” she told the publication. “I’ve been grieving her. I’ve been looking for her in everything, and it’s almost like she got drowned by the world and the media. I don’t remember when she went away.”
"Hit Me Hard and Soft" is the follow-up to the musician’s 2019 debut "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" and her 2021 sophomore effort "Happier Than Ever", both of which topped the Billboard 200 for three weeks.
Eilish is set to embark on a Live Nation-produced tour in September in Quebec and continue through North America until December.
In February 2025, Eilish will hit Australia, followed by Europe, the U.K., and Ireland from April to late July.
Eilish is continuing her partnership with environmental nonprofit Reverb on the tour, which will reduce greenhouse gas pollution, decrease single-use plastic waste, support climate action, and update concession offerings to promote and encourage plant-based food options with Support+Feed. A portion of ticket sales in North America will also go toward Reverb’s efforts.
