U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden tested negative for the coronavirus on Thursday, according to his campaign.

Earlier this week, the Biden campaign has announced that someone who flew with former Vice President Joe Biden to Ohio on Monday and Florida on Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19.

The positive result was discovered through contact tracing that the campaign undertook following the positive diagnosis of Sen. Kamala Harris’ communications director and a non-staff flight crew member.

It is worth mentioning that, Donald Trump’s campaign approved the date of his second presidential debate with his Democratic opponent Joe Biden on October 22nd earlier today.

The second presidential debate was supposed to be done virtually on October 15th to protect the health of everyone working on it especially after Trump’s infection with coronavirus.

However, when Trump announced that he will not take a part in a virtual debate, the debate was delayed an extra week when it will be done face to face.
