After donating $2.5 million to fire relief efforts through her BeyGOOD foundation, Beyoncé has made another big announcement regarding her January 14 mystery reveal.

“The Jan. 14 announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram. “I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community. To join our efforts in supporting those impacted, please visit @BeyGOOD. Love, B.”

On Christmas Day, Beyoncé took to Instagram to share a cryptic video of her riding a white horse and waving an American flag. The video ended by showing the date January 14, 2025. Her followers have speculated what would come of the big reveal, whether it be an album or a new tour, but fans will have to wait at least a few days longer to find out.

Beyoncé’s $2.5 million pledge through her foundation BeyGOOD, established in 2013, will directly provide funds to families who have lost their homes in the Altadena and Palisades fires.

The foundation will also help fund churches and community centers to better help the immediate needs of struggling families.

Beyoncé is the latest major Hollywood player to donate big money toward the fire relief effort. On January 13, it was announced that Eva Longoria donated $1 million toward helping those impacted by the fires. The announcement came days after Jamie Lee Curtis also pledged $1 million to support L.A. during this historic catastrophe.
