Bavarian Minister-president Markus Söder visited the Pyramids with his delegation and the German Ambassador to Cairo. The trip is part of their Egypt visit program.
Söder was received by the Director General of the Giza Plateau Ashraf Mohie who accompanied them on the tour and briefed the history and the most significant displays of the site.
The tour included the Great Pyramid, the Panorama, and the Sphinx where he met the history of each one and the process of the sculpture.
The Bavarian officials had several photos during the trip, in addition to participating in some TV interviews. He expressed his enjoyment and excitement for the visit. He also asserted that he enjoyed the ancient Egyptian civilization.
He also visited Khan Al Khalili where he tasted Egyptian food, and had a Nile boat tour.
