Bassma Boussel Opens Up About Divorce from Tamer Hosny

Moroccan singer and fashion designer Bassma Boussel is sharing more insight into her divorce from Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny.

In a recent interview, Boussel spoke candidly about their separation explaining that despite the split, she has a strong friendship with her ex-husband.

"The most difficult decision I have ever made in my life was the divorce because you build things for years and suddenly discover that it will need to be undone," she said.

Boussel added, "I think our children understand the idea of divorce, because they see that the relationship between us has become better, and just because we didn't couldn't continue as a couple we cannot be friends,".

In April, the couple called it quits after 12 years of marriage. The two went on to have three children named Adam, Talyia, and Amaya.

The couple has not given a reason for their split, however, there have been speculations throughout the years surrounding extreme jealousy and cheating rumors.

Later on, Boussel indicated that Hala Omar, Tamer Hosni’s manager, was the reason for their divorce.
