Egyptian actor Bassem Samra has recently joined the cast of singer-actor Tamer Hosny's upcoming film "Restart".
The pic marks Hosny and Hannah El Zahed's third collaboration after the 2022 film “Behabek” and the 2009 TV series “Farq Tawqit”.
It is scripted by Ayman Bahgat Kamar and also reunites Hosny with director Sara Wafik, who helmed his 2021 film "Mesh Ana" and latest film "Tag".
"Restart" is set to premiere in the cinemas during the Eid al-Adha movie marathon.

On the other hand, Samra collaborates with actor Mohamed Emam on his latest film “El Leab Ma El Eyal”.
"El Leab Ma El Eyal" hails from acclaimed filmmaker Sherif Arafa and marks the first collaboration between Arafa and Mohamed Emam, the son of his long-time collaborator Adel Emam.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes Asmaa Galal, Bayoumi Fouad, Mohamed Mahmoud, Wizo, and more.
"El Leab Ma El Eyal" is set to premiere sometime later in 2024.
Moreover, Samra is gearing up to return for season 2 of the star-studded TV series "El Atawla".
The cast also includes Ahmed El Sakka, Tarek Lotfy, Zeina, Mai Kassab, Salah Abdallah, Hanan Soliman, Hoda Eletreby, and more.
"El Atawla" marks the first collaboration between El Sakka and Lotfy in 20 years. They previously collaborated on films "Ean Aleashq Walhuaa" (2006), and "Saeidi Fil Gameaa Al Amerikeya" (1998).
It marks the first collaboration between El Sakka and Zeina in 13 years. They previously collaborated on the 2007 smash hit film "El Gezira"(The Island).
The series consists of 30 episodes and hails from scriptwriter Hisham Hilal and director Ahmed Khaled Mousa.
"El Atawla" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
