Emirati-Yemeni singer-actress Balqees Fathi will perform live at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Kuwait, on Sunday, April 23.

She is set to present several of her popular and latest songs.

Fathi was born on October 20, 1984, into an artistic family. Her father Ahmed Fathi was a well-known Yemeni musician.

She began early in music learning to play instruments and singing. Fathi released her debut album "Majnoun" in 2013.

On October 20, 2019, she received a star on the walkway of the Dubai Stars at downtown Dubai. In August 2021, she unveiled her wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Dubai.

In October 2022, she was chosen to present "Light The Sky", a song for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, collaborating with artists, RedOne, Manal, Rahma Riad, and Nora Fatehi.

Balqees married Saudi Arabian businessman Sultan Bin Abdullatif in 2016, with whom she had a son.[8] She filed for divorce in 2021.[9]
