Bahraini king lauds President Sisi's visit

MANAMA, Aug 31 (SEE) - Bahraini King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa commended on Friday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to his country, Bahraini News Agency (BNA) reported.

The Bahraini king said the visit falls within framework of common interest of the two countries and strengthens their close ties, adding that Egypt is the main cornerstone for Arab and regional security.

Both leaders had talks on fostering bilateral cooperation in all domains and a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Sisi, for his part, thanked the Bahraini king for his warm reception, lauding the Arab country's supportive stances towards Egypt and its people.

The president left Manama, heading for Beijing to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on ways of boosting bilateral ties in the different fields and partake in 2018 Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
