On December 4, the annual Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting celebration will take place. The two-hour event will start at 8 EST (3 am Cairo time).
A long list of stars, and bands are set to make appearances at the festive evening.
Musician and singer Kelly Clarkson will host the lighting ceremony and its television special, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center."
Clarkson is one of the icons of the annual event streaming specials.
Clarkson moved to New York City last year after hosting her show at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.
"I love the holidays here in New York," Clarkson said on her show. "Living here during Christmas is like you’re in a movie. There’s nothing like it in the world, especially the tree lighting ceremony."
The Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Hudson, the country duo Dan + Shay, Broadway star Megan Hilty, Thalia, known as the Queen of Latin Pop are set for performances during the evening.
The high-kicking Radio City Rockettes, star of the annual “Christmas Spectacular” at adjacent Radio City Music Hall, will also perform.
Famous NBC News' "TODAY" show anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker and Craig Melvin will also appear to continue their duties for the season after their appearances at Thursday's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
