Azerbaijan announced today, Saturday, that 12 civilians were killed and 40 others were wounded in the city of "Ganja", as a result of Armenian forces shelling.
The Prosecutor General's Office said that two shells fell on civilian buildings in the second largest city of Azerbaijan, according to AFP.
Noteworthy, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stressed on Thursday that his country is concerned about the missiles and bullets fired into the Iranian territory as a result of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“Unfortunately, there was disturbing news that several military missiles fell on the border areas inside Iranian territory as a result of the military battles in Nagorno-Karabakh, this is unacceptable at all,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman warned, according to Russia Today.
“If such shelling continues, the Islamic Republic of Iran will not remain indifferent.”
