Egyptian actress Ayten Amer has signed on to star in the TV Series "Al Naqur".
It also stars Mohamed Reyad, Tarek Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Mohsen Mansour, and others.
The series, consists of 30 episodes, scripted by Tarek Barakat, directed by Adel El Aassar, and produced by Clacket Production company.
Amer was last seen in season 7 of the hit comedy TV series "Al-Kabir Awy".
Season 7 of “Al-Kabir Awy” featured the return of previous cast members such as Ahmed Mekky, Bayoumi Fouad, Hisham Ismail, Mohamed Salam, Ahmed Farag, and Moustafa Gharieb.
It also featured a number of celebrities making a cameo including Ahmed El Sakka and Lebanese actress Nour, who embodies the personality of a psychiatrist.
The series was written by Mustafa Saqr, directed by Ahmed El-Gendy, and produced by the Synergy production company.
“Al-Kabir Awy” made its debut in 2010. It revolved around the Mayor of the Mazarita village, in upper Egypt, who discovers that he has other siblings. The series achieved great success and became one of the best comedy series that screened annually during Ramadan. It was renewed in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2022.
