Production has begun on Egyptian stars Aya Samaha and Ahmed Malek's upcoming film "6 Ayam" ('6 Days').
The pic hails from director Karim Shaaban, in his full-length feature film debut. Shaaban directs the pic from a script by Wael Hamdy. Sea Cinema Productions is the studio behind the film.

Samaha will be seen next in the comedy film "Wadaan Hamdy".
The cast also stars Shereen Reda Entsar, Injy El Mokkaddem, Ali Eltayeb, Mahmoud el-Sisi, Aly Kassem, and more.
"Wadaan Hamdy" marks Samaha's first lead film role and hails from director Mahmoud Zahran and scriptwriter El-Sayed Abd El-Nabi. Sea Cinema Arabella is the studio behind the film.
Samaha made her last onscreen appearance in the film "Ala Mashi".
The cast also includes Ali Rabee, Karim Afifi, Salah Abdallah, Abdullah Mishref, Entsar, and more.
Mohammed Al-Khaibari directed the film from a script by Ahmed Abdel-Wahab, Karim Samy also known as Kemz, and Hadeer El-Sherif. "Ala Mashi" screened during the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon.
Samaha, born on March 31, 1992, started her acting career with the 2016 film "Hepta: The Last Lecture" and received more onscreen time in the 2016 mystery TV series "Grand Hotel".
In 2020, she starred in Netfix's series "Paranormal", based on Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's supernatural novel "Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa".
Her TV credits also include "Malika", "Rageen Ya Hawa", "Seeb Wana Aseeb", "El Soffara", and “Ala Bab Al-Omara”.
