After winning the Audience Award at the Amman International Film Festival (AIFF), the film "Inshallah, a Boy" (God willing, a boy) by Jordanian director Amjad Al-Rasheed will have its commercial release in Jordan on July 18, followed by screenings at Zawya Cinema in Egypt on July 24, and in UAE, and KSA on July 25.

The film has been well-received internationally after premiering at the Cannes International Film Festival within Critics’ Week and participating in numerous other festivals, with over 100 international festival appearances. It has garnered critical acclaim for its portrayal of societal issues and the performances of the cast.

The story revolves around Nawal, a woman who faces challenges after her husband's sudden death as she tries to protect her daughter and her home in a society where having a male child takes precedence over having a female child.

The film, produced by "The Imaginarium Films", features a diverse talented team including Everything Everywhere All at Once's cinematographer Kanamé Onoyama, well-known makeup artist Farah Jadaan, clothing designer Zeina Soufan, sound engineer Nour El-Halwani, editor Ahmed Hafez, and music duo Andrew Lancaster and Jerry Lynn.

Notably, the film has won about 26 awards and earned praise from critics for its thoughtful portrayal of societal issues and its engaging storytelling.
