Australian Newspapers List Cairo, Luxor Among Best Tourist Destinations

The West Australian, one of the most renowned newspapers in Australia, recently featured a photo report on tourist attractions and activities in the city of Cairo. 

The photo report highlighted various ancient monuments, including those of ancient Egyptian, Islamic, and ancient Coptic origin, such as pyramids, mosques, churches, castles, and cemeteries, including Sala Eldin Citadel, which offers a panoramic view of Cairo, the city of a thousand minarets. 

The report also reviewed various tourist attractions such as the Khan Al-Khalili market, which it described as one of the most wonderful markets that still retains some medieval features. 

Among the other archaeological sites are the Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque, Babylon Fortress, and the Abu Sarja Church also known as "Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church", which includes the cave where the Holy Family stayed during their journey in Egypt, the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Coptic Museum.

The report further talked about Al-Azhar Park located near the citadel, which allows enjoying stunning views and gives a feeling of relaxation. It also referred to the upcoming opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which will display the entire collection of King Tutankhamun's treasures for the first time in one place.

Moreover, the report highlighted the abundance of the city of Cairo, including five-star tourist hotels and luxurious restaurants overlooking the Nile. There are various types of cuisine, Eastern and Western music, and an enjoyable atmosphere of the Nile River. 

Similarly, the Australian Sunday Times, one of the most famous newspapers in Australia, recommended a number of tourist and archaeological features of Cairo in addition to Luxor, and Aswan. 

According to a report from the Australian Sunday Times titled "The Nile River is the Origin of Life in Egypt",  it is highly recommended that travelers visiting Egypt embark on a Luxor and Aswan Nile Cruise tour.

The report noted that the Valley of the Kings, along with the city's temples such as the temples of Luxor and Karnak that are connected by the Rams' Road, have been restored and reopened in 2011 and 2021. These locations house unique tombs, especially the tomb of King Tutankhamun which was discovered in 1922 and contains priceless treasures. The report also discussed the amazing archaeological sites in the city of Aswan, which includes the temples of Philae and Abu Simbel.

The report also mentioned the city of Luxor, describing it as the largest open-air museum in the world, which many tourists coming to Egypt come to visit. 

In conclusion, the report called on tourists from all over the world to visit the Egyptian tourist destination to enjoy its unique and charming attractions and activities.
